Dataprana is a North American digital infrastructure company headquartered in Miami, FL, specializing in AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data center development. With a 500 MW energized site pipeline across multiple U.S. states and an ambitious goal of 5 GW by 2030, we build mid-scale, modular data centers optimized for speed-to-market deployment — faster and leaner than traditional developers. About the Role
The Senior Vice President Power owns the creation and advancement of Dataprana’s AI-ready site pipeline. This executive role turns land and power opportunities into bankable megawatts by leading site selection, power strategy, utility interconnection, permitting, and early-stage development across multiple U.S. markets. You will work closely with the CEO and commercial leadership to align pipeline development with customer demand and build the team under you.
Top Outcomes – Year 1
- Build 1 GW of qualified AI-ready pipeline within Year 1 — with clear land control, power path, permitting path, customer fit, and monetization thesis.
- Advance 350 MW into signed or near-signed development status with real site control and validated power assumptions.
- Build a disciplined stage-gate system for site screening, prioritization, and go/no-go decisions.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 10+ years senior experience in data center, powered land, hyperscale, utility-facing, or infrastructure development.
- Proven track record building hundreds of MW of pipeline.
- Strong understanding of utilities, substations, interconnection, permitting, and site selection.
- Ability to identify prime sites quickly and kill weak opportunities early.
- A background in electrical engineering is strongly preferred.
Compensation & Location
- Compensation: $200,000 base + Performance Bonus + Equity
- Location: Texas (preferred) — with up to 40–60% travel for site visits, utility meetings, regulatory engagement, and market assessments across multiple U.S. states
