About the Role

As an Accountant at Dataprana, you will be responsible for managing our full-cycle accounting operations and financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a high-growth, tech-driven environment.

Requirements and Skills

Accounting and Financial Management:

• Manage all accounting functions, including:
  • • general ledger
    • AP / AR
    • accruals
    • intercompany transactions
    • bank and credit card reconciliations
    • calculation of Realized and Unrealized Exchange Gains/Losses
    • equipment and inventories, etc.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with US GAAP rules.
• Perform month-end closing activities.

Payroll Administration:

• Manage payroll and reimbursement processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with payroll service providers (e.g., Rippling) to oversee payroll processes.

Collaboration and Reporting to the Chief Accountant:

• Work closely with the Chief Accountant to align accounting practices with the company’s financial strategy.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Familiarity with US GAAP accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Google sheets.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cryptocurrency and digital asset accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP or similar platforms.
• Experience working in a remote environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Russian language proficiency is a plus.

Compensation:

• Base: $18,000-$24,000 annually DOE
• Bonus: Up to 10% of base salary
• 10 days Paid Time Off (PTO) annually
• 6 paid US holidays
• 50% reimbursement for approved professional training
