About the Role

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be a key member of the Executive Team, responsible for leading the financial strategy of the company. This role is critical to ensuring Dataprana’s growth is financially sustainable and investor-ready. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and deep experience in startup or high-growth environments — particularly in tech, infrastructure, or crypto sectors.
This role goes beyond traditional finance — it’s about building systems, raising capital, and leading at the cutting edge of digital infrastructure and crypto-mining.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Implement Crypto Financial Systems: Build out and optimize systems that support our crypto-mining operations, treasury strategy, and long-term financial goals.
• Lead Fundraising, Capital Strategy & Fund Management: Secure $10M+ in investment to fuel growth; establish, implement, and manage a company-controlled fund, including legal structure, investor engagement, operations, reporting, and compliance; maintain strong investor relations.
• Own All Financial Operations: Take full responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting. Oversee compliance, tax, audit, and internal controls.
• Cash Flow & Treasury Management: Ensure financial health by managing liquidity, risk, and investment strategies. Optimize working capital and capital allocation.
• Develop Financial Models & Metrics: Build forecasting tools and dashboards to measure performance and guide data-driven decisions.
• Strategic Finance Leadership: Provide financial insights that shape long-term strategy and operational scale.
• Team Building & Leadership: Grow and lead the finance and accounting team, instilling a culture of accountability, precision, and innovation.
• Drive Growth in a Startup Environment: Navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of an early-stage company with speed, flexibility, and focus.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Experience in FinTech, asset management and investment, crypto mining or blockchain infrastructure, high-growth startups or rapidly scaling technology companies.
• Experience establishing and operating investment funds or similar financial vehicles.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or a related field
• Ten (10) years of progressively responsible financial management experience with five (5) years in a supervisory capacity
• In-depth knowledge of quarterly financial reporting requirements, including compliance with IRS and SEC regulations
• Proven track record of raising capital and managing investor relationships
• Demonstrated experience in the full lifecycle of fund management—from fund formation and structuring to operational oversight and compliance reporting
• Deep expertise in crypto-mining, digital assets, or blockchain finance
• Strong command of financial modeling, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making
• Builder’s mindset — you thrive on creating systems from scratch and taking full ownership

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to align financial strategy with company vision
• A strategic mindset, with the ability to grasp the company’s long-term vision and collaborate with Leadership team to achieve it
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the skill to identify, address, and resolve issues impacting company needs and priorities
• Experience in fundraising and managing investor relationships
• Advanced analytical skills, with experience in building financial models Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with overseas staff, other employees/departments
• Ability to supervise the work of departmental staff including coordinating, assigning, monitoring, and evaluating work
• Russian language proficiency is a plus

Compensation

• Base: $150,000 annually
• Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary
